PLC and SCADA

SCADA applications are generally used with PLC. Some of the reasons of why SCADA systems are used in industrial automation are real-time observation of system behaviors and intervention in the system and capability of carrying out rapidly developable applications.

With SCADA, real-time control and observation of very simple applications with a few tags and complex applications with thousands of and even more tags can be conducted. The data obtained is displayed as expressions or on the personal computer monitor or on industrial PC based human machine interface very fast.
