Image processing is a complex domain that requires high specialization and intensive theoretical knowledge. The number of fields in which image processing is used for automation purposes increases rapidly due to technological improvements and the decrease in the prices of hardware components used in these systems. Developments in hardware technologies such as processor architectures and camera technologies and the increasing automation needs of various sectors indicates that image processing will play a central role in several sectors. Conducting R&D studies on image processing is a hard task since image processing requires a high level of knowledge in several disciplines and each sector it is used in has different requirements.
We are aware of the fact that successful R&D studies can be conducted in this field by combining academic and theoretical knowledge with expertise in the sector. We preferred the hard task and decided to engage in R&D studies in image processing and develop advanced frameworks for image processing, video analysis and machine vision. We are follow the current problems and try to estimate the possible problems of our target sectors and we work on software frameworks which will be compatible with future components.
Our initial motivation in our R&D studies is mostly local needs but we develop globally valuable products and solutions. We prioritize R&D studies which enables us to share our capabilities with our customers and provide them with image processing ability. We support our project partners and customers in their R&D studies and efforts to develop innovative products with our expertise in image processing, video analysis and machine vision. We try to do our best to contribute development of innovative products.
